The astonishing encounters of Paul Amadeus Dienach began when he fell into a coma for several months following an illness in 1922. Upon waking, he claimed that his consciousness had traveled in time to the year 3096 and entered the body of a man named Andrew Notham, allowing him to see the world through his eyes. Even more intriguing, he claimed he could interact with the people around him. He learned much from these interactions, including that, by the start of 3000s, the next stage of human evolution had begun, resulting in Homo Novus Occidantalis. After fully recovering from his coma, Dienach he worked as a professor. Before he died in 1924, he documented his out-of-body time travel experience in his diary, which he gifted to his favorite student, George Papahatzis, who would eventually translate them.
